But there were a few surprises and we're breaking everything down in our recap-that's next! Welcome back to ClevverTV. I'm Joslyn Davis and today I'm talking about all the winners at the recent SAG Awards. Now for those of you who don't know, the SAG or Screen Actors Guild Awards are incredibly special to actors because you may've guessed, winners are chosen by peers. Not only that, the SAG awards are usually a really close sign of what we'll like see, as far as winners are concerned, at the Oscars. There were a ton of repeat winners-people who have already won during this awards show season or who have won in previous years. Some of those repearters included comedy powerhouse Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin, as well as Monique, Drew Barrymore, Kevin Bacon and Michael C. Hall who already took home trophies at the Golden Globes. The always gracious and super funny Sandra Bullock took home one of the top honors of the night for her role in the Blindside. She hit the stage on another occasion though to give Betty White the Life Achievement award, who even in her 80's had the crowd rolling in laughter. Another repeat winner was Julianna Marguilies. This was her 7th SAG award, but her very first for her role in The Good Wife. She gave a great speech, thanking her parents for their support.
